Abstract submission

The Organizing Committee welcomes the submission of original contributions for oral and poster presentation at the Congress. Participants are invited to submit an abstract for consideration by the Scientific Committee, and also specify their preferred form of presentation. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.
Preparation guidelines
Abstracts must be written both in English and Romanian. In order to make the abstract as informative as possible, please include a brief statement of the purpose of the study, the method used, the results observed, and give a brief, clear statement of conclusion; statements like “the findings will be discussed” are not admitted. All abbreviations must be defined before being used as an abbreviation in the text. The content of the abstract is solely the responsibility of the author. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author. Please note that each year a number of abstracts are rejected because they contain no data or the English is unacceptable.
The title should contain no more than 100 characters and abstracts should be no longer than 250 words. Please write your abstract using Times New Roman fonts, 11pt.
Submission
Please note that abstracts can only be submitted electronically to the dedicated address, through the electronic registration form available on the web site. Do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract. Abstracts sent by regular mail or fax will not be processed by the Secretariat and will not be forwarded to the Scientific Committee for review. A maximum of 2 abstracts may be submitted by each first author.
Deadline for abstract submission is March 30th 2009. Abstracts received after this date will not be considered.
Processing
You will receive confirmation that your abstract has been received. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and information regarding acceptance and scheduling will be sent to authors.
Publishing
Abstracts will be published in a supplement of the Romanian Review of Laboratory Medicine (Revista Romana de Medicina de Laborator).
